Retention

Archive behavior is part of the plan.

Roav makes storage and retention rules explicit before a trip starts, so users know what happens after travel ends or a plan lapses.

Free archive

Finished trips stay visible for 30 days.

Free accounts move completed trips through a visible archive window, then soft delete, then hard delete after day 90.

Personal lapse

Lapsed Personal accounts fall back to Free archive rules.

Existing trips are not force-deleted to fit the Free cap, but each trip follows the archive lifecycle from its own end date.

Legacy grace

Legacy gets a six-month locked grace window.

Trips remain retained but inaccessible during grace. Resubscribing restores the account; hard delete happens after month six.
